ACLS with an Obstetric Focus

This class is for medical professionals and is focused on recognition and adaptation of ACLS algorithms for the care of pregnant or newly delivered patients. The resuscitation science is based on ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation), so it is evidence-based and consistent with best practices (St Luke’s Hospital course materials are owned and copyrighted by St Luke’s Health System, Boise, ID)

Instructor to student ratio is 1:8 to allow time for learning and practice time

Books must be purchased from St. Luke’s.  Facilities and health systems may library books to be used by the students.  1-8 books are $75 +shipping, price decreases with the increase in books purchased.

Class taught by an instructor certified by St Luke’s Health System.

Upon completion of the class, a certificate of successful completion will be given.

This course will not replace ACLS but is taught to enhance ACLS knowledge for the obstetrical patient.

There is no renewal required at this time.
