About Acute CPR

Our Philosophy

A woman-owned small business started 2015 that focuses on low-stress effective learning environment with flexibility and a holistic approach.

From my many years as an adult instructor, I have found that by offering low-stress classes improves the learning environment.  The student will then be able to recall the information when needed.  As opposed to memorizing information to relay and pass a test.  It is my goal to give the student the tools needed to understand the material and use the information in the two years the certification is valid.

Our Story

Every business has a beginning, and mine begins with a career of 20+ years as a licensed National Registered Paramedic in the DC metropolitan area. In 1998 specializing I became a registered nurse in critical care and emergency room. I continued my love of Fire & EMS through teaching and sharing my education and experiences with others through education. I was an active instructor for the Montgomery County Department of Fire and Rescue starting in 1998 until my retirement in 2006. During that time I taught paramedic classes ACLS, PALS, PEP, and Anatomy and Physiology classes during that time. I continued my education to become an ACLS EP, NRP and ACLS OB instructor. And continuing my pursuit to educate I obtained Montgomery County Government Vendor status in 2017 ID# AUE27161
